Chavón River Speedboat Rental

Make the most of your time in La Romana by enjoying the unique experience of driving a speedboat down the Chavón River at top speeds. What better way to spend a morning?!

Description

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Romana and head by minibus to the Chavón River, a natural gem in the southern Dominican Republic. Upon arrival, we will explain safety precautions and basic instructions for driving the speedboat before beginning the adventure. On board the speedboats, we will follow a guide on their own boat.

During the speedboat ride, you will cruise full speed through scenery featured in blockbusters such as Rambo and Apocalypse Now, and view the luxurious villas at the Casa de Campo residential complex. A stop will be made at a river beach to enjoy water and tropical fruits while appreciating the surroundings.

Finally, we will drive the speedboats back, returning to hotels in La Romana by 11:30 am after a thrilling morning.

Hotel pick up

This activity includes pickup from hotels in La Romana (excluding the Nueva Romana area), Bayahibe, and Dominicus. Note that pickups are not included in the Playa Nueva Romana area, mainly composed of the Bahia Principe La Romana and Bouganville hotels. If you are in this area, we will pick you up at the Total petrol station in La Romana.
