On this trip to the Los Haitises National Park, you'll cruise along Samaná Bay and explore a notable location in the Dominican Republic.

Los Haitises Day Trip

Pickup will occur from your hotel, and then we will head to Los Haitises National Park.

Upon arrival, we will kayak through part of the subtropical rainforest. During the boat trip, observations will include mangrove areas and significant biodiversity.

Following the inland channels, we will venture into the open sea to see the karstic mogotes, habitats for various birds such as pelicans, gannets, and herons.

Next, we will visit one of the caves in this area, which features petroglyphs from indigenous groups. Be cautious, as Boa constrictor may be encountered outside.

We will proceed to Hotel Paraíso Caño Hondo, surrounded by nature and natural pools from the Jivales River. Optional swimming is available.

A 4x4 tour will take us to the top of Redonda Mountain for panoramic jungle views.

At the end of the day, we will return to your hotel, arriving between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

This day trip includes pickup from hotels in La Romana and Bayahibe. Pickup in Bayahibe starts at 5 am, while pickup in La Romana is at 5:30 am.
