Samaná Day Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, like the waterfall El Limón and the island Cayo Levantado.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in La Romana and travel by bus to the northeast of the Dominican Republic. After a brief stop in Miches, we will continue to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran awaits us.

From there, we will sail to the city of Samaná. Once on land, we will board a safari truck that will take us deep into the peninsula to the El Limón waterfall. The last stretch will be a 30-minute horse ride or hike through the jungle to the cascades, which requires descending a 200-step section.

After taking photos, we will go to a ranch for a buffet lunch. Then, we will return by bus to Samaná, where we will board a boat to Cayo Levantado, allowing one hour of free time to enjoy the beaches.

Afterward, we will take the boat back to Las Cañitas, arriving half an hour later. Finally, we will return by bus to La Romana and drop you off at your hotel after a 12-hour trip.
