Samaná Day Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, including the waterfall El Limón and the island Cayo Levantado.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and travel by bus to the northeast of the Dominican Republic. After a brief stop in the village of Miches, we'll continue to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran awaits us.

We will sail to the city of Samaná. Once on land, we'll board a safari truck to the interior of the peninsula, heading to the El Limón waterfall. The last stretch will be a 30-minute horse ride or hike through the jungle to the foot of the cascades, which can be accessed by descending a 200-step section.

After taking photos, we'll visit a ranch for a buffet lunch. We will then return by bus to Samaná, where we will board a boat to the island of Cayo Levantado, allowing one hour of free time to enjoy the beaches.

After our time in paradise, we will take the boat back to Las Cañitas, arriving half an hour later. Finally, we will return by bus to La Romana for a hotel drop-off after a 12-hour trip.
