Samaná Day Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, including the waterfall El Limón and the island Cayo Levantado.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, pick-up will be from your hotel in La Romana. The journey will commence via bus to the northeast of the Dominican Republic. A brief stop will be made in the village of Miches before continuing to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran awaits.

Following the sail to Samaná, participants will board a safari truck for an excursion into the peninsula leading to El Limón waterfall. A final 30-minute journey will be made on either horseback or by hiking through the jungle to reach the waterfall, accessible via a 200-step descent.

After taking photos, a buffet lunch will be provided at a ranch. Subsequently, the return to Samaná will be made by bus, followed by a boat trip to Cayo Levantado, where you will have one hour of free time to enjoy the beaches.

After your time on the island, the group will reconvene for the return boat ride to Las Cañitas, arriving approximately 30 minutes later. The trip concludes with the bus ride back to La Romana, where participants will be dropped off at their hotels after a 12-hour excursion.
