Samana Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, like the waterfall El Limón and the island Cayo Levantado.

Samana Trip

Between 5 am and 6 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Romana. We'll travel by bus to the northeast of the Dominican Republic. After a brief stop in the village of Miches, we'll continue to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran awaits us.

From there, we'll sail to the city of Samaná. Once on land, we'll board a safari truck that will take us to the interior of the peninsula, heading to El Limón waterfall. The last stretch will be a 30-minute horse ride or hike, depending on your preference. This will take us to the waterfall, accessible via a 200-step section.

After taking pictures, we'll go to a ranch for a buffet lunch. Afterward, we'll return by bus to the city of Samaná, where we board a boat to Cayo Levantado, giving you one hour of free time on the beaches.

At 3 pm, we'll meet again to take the boat back to Las Cañitas, arriving half an hour later. Finally, we'll return by bus to La Romana, dropping you off at your hotel by 6 pm.
