Did you know some scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean were shot on Saona Island? Discover the island on this day trip by catamaran and get lost on its dreamy beaches.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, pickup from your hotel will occur, and you will head to Bayahibe port. A catamaran will be waiting for boarding to cruise across the turquoise Caribbean Sea.

Before arriving at Saona Island, a stop will be made at a natural pool. Here, you may take a dip and, with luck, see a starfish. The route continues with music and soft drinks onboard.

Upon arrival at Saona Island, there will be free time to enjoy the Dominican sun, play volleyball, or swim in the waves. A buffet lunch will be served on the beach around midday.

The trip will conclude at the starting point after approximately 8 hours.

Meeting Point

The trip to Saona Island includes pickup from accommodation in La Romana and Bayahibe. You can select your pickup location when making your reservation.

Pickups are not available in the Playa Nueva Romana area. If staying in this area, you will be picked up at the Total gas station in La Romana.

An option without hotel pickup is available; in this case, meet at Calle La Bahía, 2 in Bayahibe at the indicated time.
