Sugar Field Buggy or Quad Bike Tour

Hop aboard a buggy or a quad bike and get your adrenaline pumping as you drive through the spectacular sugar cane fields in the south of the island.

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time and drive towards the town of Benérito. During the trip, enjoy views of the colorful houses of the south of the Dominican Republic.

Stopping at a local ranch, we'll leave the minibus to begin an exciting buggy tour, driving over uneven and muddy terrain. Participants will see extensive sugar cane plantations, visit a weighing station, and taste this local product with local farmers. There will also be an opportunity to visit a typical batey to learn about the daily life of its residents.

Afterward, we'll go to the Chavón River for a swim, followed by a visit to the ranch to taste tropical fruits, mamajuana, coffee, and cocoa. At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotels, approximately 3 hours later.

Types of Buggies

When booking, you can reserve a buggy for one person or two, but both options have two seats.

Hotel Pickup

This activity includes pickup from hotels in the following areas: La Romana and Bayahibe. Note that pickups are not included in Playa Nueva Romana (primarily hotels Bahia Principe La Romana and Bouganville). Guests in this area will be picked up at the Total gas station in La Romana instead.
