Experience the majestic humpback whales in the stunning Samana Bay. This enriching excursion from La Romana includes a visit to the picturesque Cayo Levantado.

Activity Overview

Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in La Romana at the scheduled time. Following a scenic two-hour bus journey, we will arrive at the Las Cañitas port, situated in the heart of Samana Bay.

Next, we will embark on a two and a half-hour boat adventure to witness the renowned humpback whales of Samana in their natural habitat. These magnificent creatures can grow up to 50 feet long and weigh as much as 30 tons, reigning as the true giants of the region's waters.

After our whale watching experience, we will proceed to Cayo Levantado. Here, you can indulge in a delightful buffet lunch while unwinding on the stunning beaches and soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Following this relaxing break, we will regroup to board our boat for the return journey to the port.

Our adventure concludes with a bus ride back to La Romana, where we will drop you off at your hotel approximately 11 to 12 hours after our departure.
