On this excursion to Villa Traful, we'll discover one of the most picturesque villages in Argentine Patagonia, known for its lakes and mountains.

Day Trip to Villa Traful

We will pick you up at your hotel in Villa La Angostura at 9:30 am and set off northeast along route 40 to reach Villa Traful.

During the journey, we will follow the shore of Lake Traful and traverse three types of landscapes: the rainforest, the transition forest, and the steppe. We will provide insights about each, enhancing your understanding of the local culture.

Upon arrival at Villa Traful, you will have three hours of free time to explore and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Be prepared to capture Villa Traful's landscapes with your camera.

In the afternoon, we will regroup and visit the Traful or Wind Viewpoint, offering a panoramic view of the confluence of the Traful and Limay rivers and the Valle Encantado, known for its unique rock formations.

Finally, we will return to Villa La Angostura via the Amphitheater, a scenic point to admire Villa de Limay.

The excursion will conclude at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
