Villa Rica Coffee Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Leopoldo Krausse Avenue to begin this tour of the coffee culture of Villa Rica, a significant coffee-producing city in Peru.

The tour will start at the main square, where we'll discuss the history and importance of coffee in Villa Rica. Subsequently, we will visit a coffee plantation to learn about the production process and participate in a tasting of authentic Villa Rica coffee.

After the plantation visit, we'll proceed to the Oconal Lagoon, a biodiverse wetlands area, where you'll have free time for exploration, including boat rides on the lagoon and learning about the lotus flower.

Afterward, we will gather for a typical lunch of smoked meat with a natural fruit drink.

Post-lunch, we will continue the tour, passing by the León Waterfall and the Cumbre viewpoint. We will stop at the Los Ositos orchid farm to view its flowers and visit a coffee quality control laboratory.

Here, we will learn about coffee varieties and verification processes, followed by another coffee tasting. You'll gain insights into the qualities of coffee, including its aroma and flavor.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point in Villa Rica, arriving around 3 pm.
