Winery Visit Details

Having met up at the indicated time at the entrance of Quinta Sardonia, we'll start our guided visit. This place is just a short walk from the Duero River and is known for some of the most famous wines in Spain.

We'll go on a walking tour around the vineyards and see the surrounding pine forests. The soil here is rich due to its calcareous origin with gypsum and marl.

After learning about the vines and different types of grapes, we'll head into the winery. It contains two large concrete rooms that house the laboratory, the vinification room, two aging rooms, and a bottle cellar. We will also see the French oak barrels in one of the rooms.

The visit will conclude with a wine-tasting session, where you'll try a Sardón and a QS2 paired with locally made cheese. After 1.5 hours of touring, our guided visit will finish outside the Quinta Sardonia Winery.

Children Under 18

Children under the age of 18 can join this activity and visit the vineyards and the winery. However, the wine-tasting part with food and wine pairing is only available for adults.
