Quinta Sardonia Winery Visit

If you're looking for a unique experience in Sardón de Duero, we've got the perfect activity for you! On our Quinta Sardonia Winery Visit, you'll learn all about how wines in Valladolid are made through a biodynamic process.

Winery Visit Details

Having met up at the indicated time at the entrance of Quinta Sardonia, one of Castilla y León's most important wineries, we'll start our guided visit. This place is just a short walk from the Duero River and produces some of the most famous wines in Spain.

We'll go on a walking tour around the vineyards and see the surrounding pine forests. The soil here is rich due to its calcareous origin with gypsum and marl.

After learning about the vines and different types of grapes, we'll head into the winery. It has two large concrete rooms containing the laboratory, vinification room, two aging rooms, and a bottle cellar. We'll also see French oak barrels in one of the rooms.

The visit concludes with a wine-tasting session, where you'll try a Sardón and a QS2 accompanied by local cheese.

After 1.5 hours of touring, our guided visit will finish outside the Quinta Sardonia Winery.

Children under 18 can join this activity and visit the vineyards and winery. However, the wine-tasting part is only available for adults.
