Why Visit Château de Puyguilhem?
This mansion, a masterpiece of the French Renaissance, offers an opportunity to explore at your own pace. Acquired by Pierre Mondot de la Marthonie in 1510, it transformed from a defensive fortress to a renowned Renaissance residence.
As you explore, you will see the decorative tastes of Mondot de la Marthonie, who was linked to Louise of Savoy, the mother of King Francis I. He became the first president of the Parliament of Paris in 1515.
Your ticket grants access to various rooms, including the kitchens and bedrooms. Enjoy panoramic views of Villars from the windows.

Château de Puyguilhem is open at the following times:
October 1 to March 31: Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5:30 pmApril 1 to 30: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5:30 pmMay 2 to August 31: Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 6:30 pmSeptember 1 to 30: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5:30 pm
Final admission is 45 minutes before closing. On December 24 and 31, closing is at 4 pm.

Additionally, admission is free on the first Sunday of each month from January 1 to March 31, and November 1 to December 31, as well as on the third weekend of September.
