We'll pick you up at 5:30 am at your hotel in Villavicencio and drive to the piedemonte llanero. This area, part of the Orinoquia, features lush forests that serve as habitats for numerous wild birds.

First, we'll have breakfast of local products in nature, followed by a walk along various ecological trails. These trails, within a large forest reserve, will take us close to the main bird habitats in the mountainous region of Villavicencio.

During the bird-watching route, we'll see numerous native species including woodpeckers, squirrel cuckoos, and bearded vultures, as well as various parrots and toucans.

Along the way, we'll learn to distinguish birds by size, plumage, and beak characteristics. We'll also visit different viewpoints to enjoy the sunrise over beautiful locations in the Colombian department of Meta.

Finally, we'll conclude the tour by returning to your hotel in Villavicencio at around 10:30 am.
