If you like nature, this excursion from Villavicencio is ideal for you, as we'll take you to Mesetas. In this village in the department of Meta we'll visit the so-called Paradise of the Waterfalls, where you'll find the Caracas, Pelton and Santuario waterfalls.

Caracas, Pelton & Santuario Waterfalls Tour

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio, and from there we'll drive in a 4x4 vehicle to Mesetas. This village, located in the Colombian department of Meta, is famous for a spectacular set of waterfalls.

We'll stop in the sector Argentina, one of the areas where the waterfalls are located. There we'll have a breakfast with different local products. After this snack, we'll take a walk through the Cascades Paradise to see the Caracas, Pelton and Santuario waterfalls.

These waterfalls plunge from heights of between 40 and 80 metres (131 and 262 feet), creating a captivating landscape. Due to the armed conflict in Colombia, these waterfalls remained hidden for decades.

You can take a dip in the waterfalls, followed by a picnic lunch consisting of local foods. After lunch, we'll walk to a lookout point for panoramic views of the Sierra de Macarena Natural Park.

Finally, we'll return by 4x4 to your hotel in Villavicencio, arriving at approximately 5 pm.
