Waterfalls, natural springs, lush vegetation... On this excursion to Charco Azul we'll enjoy an oasis hidden in the jungle mountains of Meta. Welcome to the heart of Colombia!

Charco Azul Tour

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and travel in a 4x4 vehicle to the town of Mesetas. After a three-hour drive, we'll arrive at our destination. We'll have a breakfast to recharge before heading to Charco Azul.

Once there, we'll hike to a small beach in the jungle that features a majestic waterfall. This location has become a popular destination due to its beauty and tranquility, making it ideal for connecting with nature.

You will have free time to swim in Charco Azul, relax on the shore, and take photos. Afterward, we will have lunch consisting of meat and vegetables before continuing our journey.

After lunch, we will proceed to the Historical Memory Camp, which was formerly part of one of the guerrilla camps in the area. Here, we will learn about the history and the lives of ex-combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) during the armed conflict.

The excursion will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel in Villavicencio at 5 pm.
