Waterfalls, natural springs, lush vegetation... On this excursion to Charco Azul we'll enjoy an oasis hidden in the jungle mountains of Meta. Welcome to the heart of Colombia!

Charco Azul Tour

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and travel in a 4x4 vehicle to the town of Mesetas. A three-hour drive will take us to Charco Azul.

Upon arrival, we will have a breakfast before we begin our hike. We'll then drive to the area surrounding Charco Azul.

We will follow a path to a small beach in the jungle, home to a waterfall. This spot is a popular destination noted for its beauty and tranquility, making it a place to connect with nature.

Here, you will have free time to swim in Charco Azul, relax, and take photos. At lunchtime, we'll provide a meal of meat and vegetables.

After lunch, we will continue to the Historical Memory Camp. This location was once part of a guerrilla camp. We'll learn about the history and the experiences of ex-combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) during the armed conflict.

The excursion concludes with your drop-off at your hotel in Villavicencio at 5 pm.
