It is often said that the beauty of Meta, a department in Colombia, must be felt rather than simply observed. On this excursion, you will immerse yourself in stunning landscapes, visit the magnificent La Encantada waterfall, and enjoy an exciting tubing experience in the Cafre river canyon.

La Encantada Waterfall Adventure + Tubing in the Cafre River

Your journey begins with a pickup at 7 am from your hotel in Villavicencio. From there, we will set off in a 4x4 vehicle, traversing the picturesque terrain of Meta.

After approximately three hours of travel, we will reach the charming village of Mesetas, where a delicious breakfast awaits you. Following this, we will make our way to the outskirts of the town to behold the breathtaking La Encantada waterfall, celebrated as one of the most beautiful in the region.

You will have the opportunity to take a brief walk through the verdant forest surrounding the waterfall, with an option to take a revitalizing dip in its refreshing waters. Once you've enjoyed this invigorating swim, we will head back to Mesetas for a traditional lunch featuring an array of regional specialties.

After our midday meal, we’ll venture to a nearby riverbank for an exhilarating session of tubing down the Cafre River. This enjoyable activity allows you to glide on a float while navigating the river's currents. No prior experience is necessary, as the adventure will be customized to suit the group's preferences.

As our day comes to a close, we will return to your hotel in Villavicencio, arriving around 5 pm.
