La Encantada Waterfall Tour + Tubing in the Canyon of the Cafre River

They say that the landscapes of the Colombian department of Meta are not to be counted, but to be experienced. We'll experience their beauty on this excursion, where we'll visit the spectacular La Encantada waterfall and go tubing in the Cafre river canyon.

We'll pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Villavicencio and drive in a 4x4 vehicle through the Colombian department of Meta.

After a journey of approximately three hours, we'll arrive at the village of Mesetas, where we'll have a breakfast. We'll then drive to the outskirts of the town to visit the La Encantada waterfall.

We'll take a short walk through the forests around the waterfall, where you can also take a dip. After this swim, we'll return to the centre of Mesetas for a traditional lunch including various regional dishes.

In the afternoon, we'll head to a nearby riverbed to go tubing on the Cafre River. This activity consists of sliding on a float to navigate the different water currents. No previous experience is necessary, and the trip will be adapted to the needs of the group.

Finally, after tubing, we'll return to your hotel in Villavicencio, with an arrival time of 5 pm.
