River Güejar Hiking Tour

On this excursion to the Güejar River we'll travel through one of the beautiful natural areas of the department of Meta. Come and connect with nature in the interior of Colombia!

River Güejar Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio at 7 am. From there, we'll start a three-hour drive to the municipality of Lejanías.

Once we reach the river, we'll start a 3.5-kilometre (2.1 miles) hiking route to discover its most beautiful spots and its biodiversity, while learning about the area.

As we walk along the banks of the river Güejar, we'll find lush vegetation, intense green paths, and impressive waterfalls, including caño Lajón and caño Jordán.

We'll continue until we reach an area of natural pools and jacuzzis where you can take a refreshing bath. We will have lunch at this stop.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Villavicencio by 5 pm.
