On this excursion to the Güejar River, we'll explore one of the most beautiful natural areas of the department of Meta.

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio at 7 am and start a three-hour drive to the municipality of Lejanías. Prepare to experience the wonders of the Güejar River.

Upon arrival, a 3.5-kilometre (2.1 miles) hiking route will lead us to discover the scenic beauty and biodiversity of the area.

As we hike along the banks of the Güejar River, we will see lush vegetation, vibrant paths, and impressive waterfalls. The caño Lajón and caño Jordán waterfalls are highlights of this journey.

We will continue until we reach a natural area with pools and jacuzzis where you can take a refreshing swim. During this stop, we will also enjoy lunch with scenic views.

We expect to return to your hotel in Villavicencio by 5 pm.
