Do you feel like getting your adrenaline pumping? In this activity from Villavicencio we'll practice tubing in the river Güape, where we'll also visit the cave of the guacharos.

Tubing in the Güape River Canyon

At 5:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and drive to the municipality of La Uribe in a 4x4 vehicle.

Upon arrival, we'll put on our helmets and tubing waistcoats. Once equipped, we'll prepare the floats and go to the embarkation point in El Limón. There, the instructor will explain simple safety rules to follow during the trip.

After this brief talk, we'll start tubing in the canyon of the Güape River. This activity lasts between 5 and 6 hours, during which we'll slide down the river with floats and try to overcome different torrents of white water.

Additionally, we'll visit the cave of the guacharos, named for the birds that inhabit it. The only sound breaking the silence of these underground cavities is the flapping of the birds as we enter the cave.

We'll conclude the tubing activity in the area of La Resevera, where we'll have a picnic including local specialties. After regaining our strength, we will return to your hotel in Villavicencio, expected to arrive by 12:30 pm.
