Do you feel like getting your adrenaline pumping? In this activity from Villavicencio we'll practice tubing in the river Güape, where we'll also visit the cave of the guacharos.

Tubing in the Güape River Canyon

At 5:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and drive to the municipality of La Uribe in a 4x4 vehicle.

Upon arrival, we'll put on our helmets and tubing waistcoats. Once equipped, we'll prepare the floats and head to the embarkation point in El Limón. An instructor will explain simple safety rules that we must follow during the trip.

After this briefing, we'll start tubing in the canyon of the Güape River. This activity lasts between 5 and 6 hours, allowing us to slide down the river while navigating different torrents of white water.

During the trip, we will visit the cave of the 'guacharos', named after the birds that inhabit it. The constant flapping of these birds will be the only sound in the underground cavities.

We will conclude the tubing activity in the area of La Resevera, where we will enjoy a delicious picnic featuring local specialities. After regaining our strength, we'll return to your hotel in Villavicencio, arriving by 12:30 pm.
