Fort of Saint-André Tickets

This ticket will allow you entry to the Fort of Saint-André and you'll have the opportunity to visit one of the most impressive medieval fortresses in Provence.

Why Visit Fort Saint-André?

Located in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, the Saint-André fortress is a principal monument of 14th-century French military architecture. Commissioned by King Philip IV to enhance his influence, the fort is strategically situated on a promontory overlooking the Rhône. Visitors can enjoy views of Avignon and, on clear days, natural landscapes such as the Alpilles, Luberon massifs, and Mont Ventoux.

Opening Times

Saint-André Fort is open daily at the following times:

October 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pmJune 1 to July 14, 2025: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pmJuly 15 to August 18, 2025: 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pmAugust 19 to September 30, 2025: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm

Final admission is one hour before closing time.

Special Times

Note that on December 24 and 31, the monument will close at 4 pm.

Free Admission

Admission to the Fort of Saint-André is free for:

Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

Free admission is available to all on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31, between November 1 and December 31, and the third weekend of September. To qualify, visit the ticket office and present a certifying document to obtain a free ticket.
