Fort of Saint-André Tickets

This ticket will allow you entry to the Fort of Saint-André and you'll have the opportunity to visit a notable medieval fortress in Provence.

Why Visit Fort Saint-André?

Located in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, the Saint-André fortress is significant for understanding 14th-century French military architecture. Commissioned by King Philip IV to strengthen his power, the fortress is strategically placed on a promontory overlooking the Rhône. Visitors can enjoy views of Avignon and, on clear days, the natural landscapes of the Alpilles, Luberon, and Mont Ventoux.

Opening Times

Saint-André Fort is open daily at the following times:

October 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pmJune 1 to July 14, 2025: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pmJuly 15 to August 18, 2025: 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pmAugust 19 to September 30, 2025: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm

Final admission is one hour before closing time.

Special Times

On December 24 and 31, the monument will close at 4 pm.

Free Admission

Admission is free for:

EU youth between 18 and 25 years old.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

Free admission is also available on the first Sunday of the month in specified periods and the third weekend of September. To obtain free admission, individuals must visit the ticket office with a certifying document.
