Fort of Saint-André Tickets

This ticket will allow you entry to the Fort of Saint-André and visit an impressive medieval fortress in Provence.

Why Visit Fort Saint-André?

Located in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, the Saint-André fortress is significant for understanding 14th-century French military architecture. Commissioned by King Philip IV, the fort is strategically positioned on a promontory along the Rhône. Visitors can enjoy views of Avignon and, on clear days, natural landmarks such as the Alpilles, Luberon, and Mont Ventoux.

Saint-André Fort is open daily at the following times:

Final admission is one hour before closing time.

Special Times

On December 24 and 31, the monument will close at 4 pm.

Free Admission

Admission to the Fort of Saint-André is free for:

Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.

Free admission is also available on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31, from November 1 to December 31, and on the third weekend of September. To acquire a free ticket, visit the site’s ticket office with a certifying document of eligibility.
