Discover a typical Lithuanian medieval city with this day trip to Trakai. You'll visit its castle and stroll through its fairytale houses.

Trakai Day Trip

We'll meet at 11 am in Odminiu Square in Vilnius and set off on a 40-minute bus journey to Trakai, a town surrounded by five lakes. During the trip, you can listen to an audio guide in English to learn about the history of the area.

Upon arrival in Trakai, you will have 2 hours 30 minutes of free time to explore the city or the castle. To visit Trakai Castle, head to the shores of Lake Galvé, where the castle is located on a small island. Access to the castle requires walking across the drawbridge. Inside, you can view grand rooms filled with medieval furniture, costumes, and maps. You may climb the Grand Duke's Tower to explore additional rooms.

After your exploration, we will regroup at our designated meeting point in Trakai to return to Vilnius, arriving back at 3 pm.
