Vilnius Cycling Excursion
Our adventure begins at 11 am on Stulginskio Street in Vilnius. Here, we’ll mount our bicycles and prepare to explore the vibrant city center. Let’s get started!
Initially, we will navigate along Gediminas Avenue, recognized as one of the longest and most significant thoroughfares in the capital. Our ride will lead us to Cathedral Square, where we can admire the Monument to the Grand Duke Gediminas, the Renaissance architectural masterpiece of the Grand Dukes’ Palace, and the striking Neoclassical Vilnius Cathedral.
Continuing our journey, we will pass by the Presidential Palace and the esteemed Vilnius University, established in 1579 by Stephen I of Poland. We will also traverse Stiklio Street, which was once home to the old Jewish quarter.
As we pedal through the city's streets, we’ll encounter the City Hall, the notable Gate of Dawn, and the Artillery Bastion, where we will take a brief pause to savor the breathtaking views of the Old Town. Prepare to be amazed by the distinctive style of the renowned Bernardine Church and the charming landscape of Neris River park, alongside several other remarkable sights in Vilnius.
