Free Tour of Viña del Mar's Museums & Palaces

Do you know La Ciudad Jardín ("The Garden City") of Chile? On this free tour of Viña del Mar, you'll admire its beautiful museums and palaces from the outside and discover its architecture.

Tour Details

The free tour of Viña del Mar will begin at the Miramar metro station exit. Although we won't enter any museum, palace, or monument, we will admire their architecture from outside and learn about their history.

We will first visit the Brunet Castle, a Romanticism palace inspired by European medieval fortresses. After that, we will head to the Reloj de Flores (Flower Clock), an icon of Viña del Mar.

Next, we'll continue to the Wulff Castle on the Pacific Ocean shore, passing other notable sites such as the Viña del Mar Casino, the Iglesia de los Padres Carmelitas, and the Fonck Museum, where a moai statue from Easter Island is located at the main entrance.

We will then visit the Palacio Carrasco, dating back to the early 20th century, before heading to the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, the oldest church in Viña del Mar.

The tour will conclude after approximately 3 hours in front of the Palacio Vergara, showcasing Venetian Neo-Gothic architecture, now home to a museum of paintings, recognized as one of the main picture galleries in Chile.
