Cueva del Silencio Hike

We will meet at the scheduled time in front of the Church of Viñales and begin our hike along the Palmarito trail through the Viñales Valley.

The hike begins in the valley where we will observe the mogotes, unique rock formations emerging from the fields. As we traverse the lush landscapes, we will pass extensive tobacco and coffee plantations. A stop will be made to observe the drying of tobacco leaves, learn about the cigar-making process, and sample an authentic Cuban cigar.

We will then proceed to the Cueva del Silencio. Inside the cave, we will descend almost 328 feet (100 meters) to reach a lagoon nestled between the rock walls.

We will spend half an hour exploring the cave, after which we'll return to daylight and visit a nearby lake where participants can swim. There will be free time to appreciate the scenery and enjoy a meal.

The hike concludes as we return to the starting point and bid farewell after a 5-hour experience.
