Viñales Valley Bike Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at Calle Orlando Nodarse, where a brief introduction will precede the distribution of bicycles. Then, we will begin our adventure through this Cuban valley.
The first stop will be the Mirador de los Jazmines, a lookout point with spectacular views over the Viñales Valley.
Next, we will pedal to the Cueva del Indio, historically inhabited by Indigenous Peoples. A short walk inside the grotto will showcase various stalactite and stalagmite formations, followed by a boat ride on the underground river.
The tour continues at a local tobacco farm to understand the fermentation and selection processes used in creating Habanos, the prestigious cigars. We will learn about the farmers’ lives and visit the despalillo, a small factory where tobacco leaves are processed.
Before concluding, we’ll stop by the Mural of Prehistory to explore ancient life in the Viñales region while enjoying a piña colada.
The bike tour will last four hours, ending with a drop-off back at the starting point.
