Ibiraçu Buddha Tour + Other Sights

Do you want to go to see the biggest Buddha statue in the West? This tour to the Buda of Ibiraçu will allow you to discover the most zen part of Brazil!

Itinerary

At the scheduled time, you'll be collected from your hotel and brought to Ibiraçu. Arriving at your destination, you'll visit the Portal do Buddhista square, where attractions such as the giant Buddha, the Torii square, and the 15 statues of the meditating Buddhas can be found.

The Statue of the Giant Buddha stands at a height of 38 metres (124.67 feet), making it one of the largest Buddha statues globally. You will then head to Torii Square, dedicated for meditation, and visit the great Torii gate, symbolizing dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures.

Lastly, you'll see the statue of the 15 meditating Buddhas, which represent the serenity needed in times of adversity. After an hour at the site, you'll return to the starting point. The tour concludes approximately 4 hours after the scheduled start time.
