On our Šibenik Fortresses Tour & Wine Tasting experience, you'll see both St Michael's and Barone fortress, as well as visiting a traditional winery to taste some local wine and cheese.

Šibenik Fortresses Tour & Wine Tasting

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Šibenik at 1 pm and then head to two of the city's most symbolic fortresses.

First, we'll go to St. Michael's Fortress, the oldest fortress in Šibenik. Built to defend the bay, it's a significant site in the town's marine development. We'll take pictures and admire its impressive walls, which feature various architectural styles.

Next, we'll visit the Barone fortress, located near St John's fortress. We'll explore the interior and discuss historical events, including battles against the Ottoman Empire.

After the fortresses, we'll proceed to the Baraka winery. Here, we'll learn about the region's wine and its unique gastronomy.

We will taste three different wines accompanied by various Croatian cheeses.

Our tour will conclude with your return to the hotel at around 4:30 pm.
