Šibenik Fortresses Tour & Wine Tasting

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Šibenik at 1 pm and head to two of the city's most symbolic fortresses.

First, we'll visit St. Michael's Fortress, the oldest fortress in Šibenik, built to defend the bay and considered a starting point for the town's marine development. We'll take pictures of the castle and admire its impressive walls with various architectural styles.

Next, we'll head to the Barone Fortress, located a few meters from St John's fortress. We'll walk through the fortress and discuss significant events that occurred here, including battles against the Ottoman Empire.

After visiting the fortresses, we'll proceed to the Baraka winery. Here, we will learn about the region's wine and the unique characteristics of local gastronomy.

Along with a stroll around the premises, we'll taste three different wines paired with various Croatian cheeses.

Our tour will conclude upon our return to your hotel, around 4:30 pm.
