Enjoy the beauty of a World Heritage landscape on this kayak tour of the Nærøyfjord, characterized by high mountains, waterfalls, and lush vegetation.
Description
At the designated time, we will meet at Evangervegen Street, next to Vangsvatnet Lake. We will board a minibus and travel to the Næroyfjord, the narrowest section of the Sognefjord.
Upon arrival, we will enter the kayaks and review the basic safety rules. The Næroyfjord kayak tour allows exploration of one of the most beautiful fjords in the world, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
As we paddle, we will discuss the extensive history of the Næroyfjord, a crucial connection between western and central Norway. Expect to see snow-capped mountains over 1,400 meters (4,593 feet), numerous waterfalls, picturesque villages along the fjord, and lush vegetation reflecting in the clear waters.
Midway, we will take a break, and you may bring a picnic to enjoy the scenery. After resting, we will continue our adventure.
The kayaking tour lasts 3 to 4 hours, and the entire experience, including transfers, will take approximately 7 hours.
