Nærøyfjord Kayak Tour

Enjoy the incredible beauty of a World Heritage landscape on this kayak tour of the Nærøyfjord. High mountains, waterfalls and lush vegetation will mark the route.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Evangervegen Street, next to Vangsvatnet Lake. There, we'll board a minibus and head for the Næroyfjord, the narrowest section of the Sognefjord.

Upon arrival, we'll get into the kayaks and review the basic safety rules. The Næroyfjord kayak tour will provide an opportunity to explore a World Heritage Site. As we paddle, we will share the history of the Næroyfjord, a key connection between western and central Norway. You will see snow-capped mountains over 1,400 meters (4,593 feet), waterfalls, villages along the fjord, and lush vegetation reflecting on the waters.

Midway, we will take a break where you can bring a picnic to enjoy. After the break, we will continue. The kayaking tour will last 3 to 4 hours. Afterward, we'll return to the minibus for transportation back to Voss. The total experience, including transfers, will take about 7 hours.
