Nærøyfjord Kayak Tour

Enjoy the incredible beauty of a World Heritage landscape on this kayak tour of the Nærøyfjord. High mountains, waterfalls and lush vegetation will mark the route.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Evangervegen Street, next to Vangsvatnet Lake. There, we'll board a minibus and head for the Næroyfjord, the most narrow section of the Sognefjord.

Upon arrival, we'll get into the kayaks and review the basic safety rules. The Næroyfjord kayak tour allows you to explore this World Heritage Site. As we paddle, we will share the history of the Næroyfjord, connecting the western and central parts of Norway for many years. Expect to see snow-capped mountains over 1,400 meters (4,593 feet), numerous waterfalls, and charming villages.

Midway through the journey, we'll take a break; you're welcome to bring a picnic. After resting, we’ll continue our adventure.

The kayaking tour lasts 3 to 4 hours. After the tour, we'll return to the minibus for the ride back to Voss, making this experience total approximately 7 hours.
