Kampala Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at the indicated time to begin our tour. The first stop will be at Mengo, or Lubiri, Palace, the official residence of the King of Buganda, where we'll learn about its history and its use as a prison for political prisoners in the 1960s.
The next stop will be the Uganda National Mosque on Kampala Hill, a skyscraper mosque gifted by Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya.
After exploring the mosque, we will visit the bustling Owino Market, where we will discuss the food culture of the city. Nearby is the old Kampala Taxi Motor Park, a key stop on the tour.
Next, we will enter the Uganda Museum, known for its exhibits on culture, science, natural history, and archaeology of the country.
Finally, we will return to your hotel to conclude the tour after a total of 5 hours.
