Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at 7 am and drive north towards Murchison Falls National Park, where the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is located.

After approximately three hours of driving, we'll reach our destination and set out on a walking tour in search of these endangered animals. Rhinos became extinct in this country in 1983. In 1993, the Wildlife Authority was created to protect wildlife and help it thrive, leading to the establishment of the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The first rhino was born in 2009.

During our walk, try to spot some of the 30 rhinos that live in the area while learning facts about this species.

After the walking tour, we'll provide free time for rest and offer optional activities such as a Nile River boat ride. Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Kampala, concluding the tour at 4 pm.
