Description

Meet us at the Wanaka iSite Visitor Information Center, where transportation via minibus will take you to Lake Hawea. Enjoy this picturesque location in the South Island of New Zealand. Upon arrival, bicycles will be provided along with guidance on various routes to explore key attractions. You’ll have three hours to take in the views of Lake Hawea, located within a glacial valley, with activities like fishing, swimming, or kayaking available. Many locals frequent this lake daily.

Consider taking the Hawea River Track, which follows the river with views of the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, you can explore Albert Town, visit the source of the Clutha River, or enjoy coffee in Hawea. Various exploration options are available. After your biking time, return your bikes, and we will transport you back to the meeting point in Wanaka.

Ticket options

There are two options for bike rental reservations:

Standard bike rental: receive a traditional pedal bike.Electric bike rental: receive an electrically powered bike for easier exploration around Hawea.
