When booking this activity, choose from 3 different ways to explore Lake Wanaka, all starting from Roys Bay at the specified times:

Cruise to Ruby Island (1 hour)

This option departs at 1 pm on the catamaran. After approximately 15 minutes of sailing, we will arrive at Ruby Island. You can disembark to take a walk around the island and capture photos from its viewpoints.

Cruise to Stevensons Island (2 hours)

This option departs from Wanaka at 3 pm. We will sail for approximately 45 minutes to reach Stevensons Island. Here, you can choose to take a half-hour guided tour to learn about native wildlife or explore independently. The views of the Southern Alps from Stevensons Island are notable.

Cruise to Mou Waho Island (3.5 hours)

This option includes a visit to Mou Waho Island, a predator-free nature reserve. We will meet in Wanaka at 9 am and sail to the island. Upon arrival, there will be a 2-hour hike to explore its natural treasures and a lookout point for views of the region, accompanied by insights on local flora and fauna, geology, and history.
