Embark on an exhilarating skydiving adventure that offers a breathtaking view of nature's wonders. This activity in Wanaka provides a unique opportunity to observe New Zealand's landscape from a completely fresh angle.
Skydiving Overview
At the designated time, you'll meet at one of the two agreed locations. Here, you will watch an informative safety video to ensure you are well-prepared for your upcoming experience. Following this, you'll put on your gear and proceed to the drop zone!
Board the aircraft for a 10 to 15-minute flight that will take you to the selected jump height. Anticipation builds as you await the exhilarating moment of your jump!
Once you leap from the plane, you will experience a thrilling freefall, followed by a serene parachute descent. Soar through the air while enjoying spectacular vistas of Wanaka’s lakes and mountain range; on crystal-clear days, Mount Cook may even come into view.
After landing safely, we'll guide you back to the starting location, concluding this action-packed experience in approximately 3 hours.
Available Jump Options
When reserving your spot, you can select from the following jump heights for your skydiving experience:
2,700 meters (9,000 feet): Enjoy a thrilling 25 seconds of free fall.3,650 meters (12,000 feet): Experience 45 seconds of exhilarating free fall.4,550 meters (15,000 feet): Take in a breathtaking 60 seconds of free fall.
Meeting Location
You can opt to convene at the Wanaka I-Site center and then be transported to the drop zone, or you may prefer to meet directly at the drop zone (Wanaka Airport).
Participant Criteria
To take part in this skydiving experience, participants must weigh between 40 and 95 kilos (88 - 209 pounds).
