Majdanek Concentration Camp & Lublin Private Tour
Pick up at your hotel in Warsaw will occur at the specified time for the journey to Lublin. First, we will visit the Majdanek concentration camp.
This historical site, ordered by officer Himler for Polish prisoners of war, later became an extermination camp. The tour includes viewing the crematorium ovens, gas chambers, and the mausoleum housing the ashes of victims.
Next, we will drive to the historic center of Lublin for one hour of free time for lunch. Following lunch, we'll explore the old town, discussing the Yeshiva study center and observing pre-war Jewish vestiges, alongside information on the Talmud and the Hebrew-speaking world.
We will then visit Lublin Castle, a medieval stronghold from the 12th century, and climb its tower for city views. Subsequently, we will enter the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, known for its frescoes by Andrej Ruthenian.
The return journey to Warsaw will conclude, with arrival back at your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
