Warsaw & ?azienki Park Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Sigismund's Column and set off on our tour of Warsaw.
In front of the column, we'll see the Royal Castle, formerly the residence of Sigismund III. We'll continue walking to St. John's Cathedral to admire the Mazovian Gothic structure and the Barbican, remnants of the city's fortified network.
Next, we'll learn about Marie Curie and her research on radioactivity, as she was born in Warsaw. We will visit the Warsaw Uprising Monument, commemorating those lost in the 1944 rebellion.
After 2 hours in the historic center, we'll head to ?azienki Park, also known as the Royal Baths Park, where we will see the baths, the Temple of Diana, and the sculpture of the composer Fryderyk Chopin.
We'll admire the ?azienki Palace, a neoclassical building constructed in the 17th century on an artificial island, notable for its Ionic columns and mythological symbolism. During the stroll, we may also see local wildlife such as squirrels and peacocks.
After 4 hours touring Warsaw and ?azienki Park, our tour will conclude at the park exit.
