Capitol Hill: Capitol, Supreme Court and Library of Congress Tour
During this tour in Washington D.C., you will visit key government buildings including the Capitol, Supreme Court, and Library of Congress. The tour begins at the entrance of the Library of Congress at the scheduled time.
Upon meeting, we will delve into the political significance of Capitol Hill, starting with the Capitol itself. This neoclassical building is modeled after structures worldwide, including replicas in Cuba, Argentina, and Puerto Rico. Inside, we will learn about the origins of Congress and view the prominent dome of the Senate and House of Representatives.
The next destination is the Supreme Court, where we will discuss the functions of the nation's judicial authority. Key features include its large columns and the friezes representing significant lawmakers.
We will conclude our tour at the Library of Congress, recognized as one of the largest libraries globally. Notably, the library houses priceless artifacts, including one of the first Bibles printed by Gutenberg.
The guided tour lasts for 3 hours, concluding outside the Library of Congress.
