Dynjandi, Arnarfjördur & Bíldudalur Day Trip

At 9 am, we will meet on Þórsgata in Patreksfjordur to begin our day trip to significant locations in the Westfjords.

The first stop is Tálknafjördur, a small fishing village where we will walk through its streets to learn about its history and traditions while enjoying scenic views.

Next, we proceed to Bíldudalur, the capital of the Westfjords, where we will see Arnarfördur Fjord and visit the Sea Monster Museum to uncover local legends and underwater mysteries.

After the museum, we will explore Arnarfjördur Fjord's landscapes on foot as we hike towards Dynjandi, one of Iceland's most notable waterfalls. Prepare to capture its stunning views.

Following our hike, we will return to the minibus and drive towards Dynjandisheidi Mountain, tracing the path of the first Scandinavian to sail in Iceland, Floki, known from the series Vikings.

We will pass Bardaströnd Beach on our route back to Patreksfjordur, concluding our day trip around 3 pm upon arrival at the starting location.
