Dynjandi, Arnarfjördur & Bíldudalur Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet on Þórsgata in Patreksfjordur and begin our day trip to notable sites in the Westfjords.

The first stop is Tálknafjördur, a small fishing village. We'll explore its streets, learn about its traditions, and appreciate scenic views.

Next, we visit Bíldudalur, the capital of the Westfjords. We will see the Arnarfördur Fjord and visit the Sea Monster Museum, where we’ll uncover local legends related to underwater threats.

After the museum, we will explore Arnarfjördur Fjord on foot and head towards Dynjandi, one of Iceland's remarkable waterfalls. This is a prime photo opportunity.

Following our hike, we will return to the minibus and proceed to Dynjandisheidi Mountain, noting the path taken by the early Scandinavian Floki, known from the series Vikings.

We will also pass Bardaströnd Beach before heading back to Patreksfjordur. The trip concludes around 3 pm at the starting point.
