Dynjandi, Arnarfjördur & Bíldudalur Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet on Þórsgata in Patreksfjordur and depart for a day trip to notable locations in the Westfjords.

The first stop will be at Tálknafjördur, a small fishing village where we'll explore its streets, learn about its traditions and history, and appreciate scenic views.

Next, we'll visit Bíldudalur, the capital of the Westfjords. Here, we will see the Arnarfördur Fjord and visit the Sea Monster Museum to discover local legends and mysteries related to underwater creatures.

After the museum, we'll explore the Arnarfjördur Fjord on foot, heading towards Dynjandi, a prominent waterfall in Iceland. This location offers a spectacular view for photography.

Following our hike, we'll return to the minibus and head to Dynjandisheidi Mountain, tracing the route of Floki, the first Scandinavian to sail to Iceland, known to fans of the series Vikings.

We will pass Bardaströnd Beach on our way back to Patreksfjordur, concluding our day trip around 3 pm upon arrival back at the starting point.
