Experience a day full of unforgettable landscapes with a trip to the Látrabjarg cliffs and Raudasandur beach. You'll also have the opportunity to photograph the friendly Icelandic puffins!

Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Day Trip

We will meet at the selected meeting point at 9 am and head to the Látrabjarg cliffs, located 60 kilometers to the south, the most westerly point in Iceland. Along the way, we will enjoy views of the Patreksfjordur fjord.

Upon arrival, we will walk to see one of the largest seabird colonies in the world, including the famous puffins with their colorful beaks. The cliffs rise over 400 meters and extend for 14 kilometers along the coast, offering fascinating stories from the area, including tales of a ship and an abandoned plane.

The tour will also include a visit to Raudasandur, a beach with fine reddish sand that stretches for more than 10 kilometers. We will stroll along the beach, appreciating the contrast between the black cliffs and the deep blue ocean.

Our final stop will be the Hnjótur Heritage Museum to learn about Iceland's history, culture, and way of life. The tour will conclude in Patreksfjordur at approximately 3 pm.
