On this jeep tour through the Westfjords, we'll take you to the cliffs of Látrabjarg and the beach of Raudasandur while enjoying a ride on Icelandic roads.

Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

At 9 am, we will meet at Þórsgata Street in Patreksfjordur and board an off-road jeep. We will visit the cliffs of Látrabjarg, home to puffins.

We will leave Patreksfjordur and cross the Keflavík desert, enjoying views of Rauðasandur, Breiðavík, and Látravík. The drive will include fascinating stories from this area along the Atlantic coast.

During our journey, we will see Hænuvík and the fjords of Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður. We will stop at Raudasandur beach for half an hour, offering time for lunch and appreciating its unique reddish sand.

At the cliffs of Látrabjarg, we will observe the puffin colony, recognized as one of the largest seabird colonies globally.

Finally, we will visit the Hnjótur Heritage Museum to learn about Iceland's history and culture.

We will conclude the jeep tour by returning to the meeting point at approximately 5:30 pm.
