Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Þórsgata Street in Patreksfjordur and board an off-road jeep. We will visit the cliffs of Látrabjarg, known for its puffin population.

We'll depart Patreksfjordur and cross the Keflavík desert, enjoying views of Rauðasandur, Breiðavík, and Látravík. The ride towards the westernmost point of Iceland along the Atlantic coast will include insights into the region's history.

During the tour, we'll see Hænuvík and the fjords of Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður. We'll also spend half an hour at Raudasandur beach, renowned for its reddish sand, where you can take time for lunch.

Upon reaching the cliffs of Látrabjarg, we will observe the puffin colony, recognized as one of the largest seabird colonies globally.

Our final stop will be the Hnjótur Heritage Museum, providing insights into Iceland's history and culture. We will conclude the jeep tour by returning to the meeting point at approximately 5:30 pm.
