Patreksfjördur & Tálknafjödur Fjords Hike

At 9 am, we'll meet at Þórsgata 8a in Patreksfjördur and start our hike to Tálknafjödur. We'll explore the fjords that line the shores of these two West Icelandic towns.

On this hike, you'll travel along trails that were used before Iceland had its first roads. The guide will provide interesting facts about the local people and their unique customs.

Our 5-hour hike will take us through Litlidalur, Lambeyrarháls, and Sudureyri. In Sudureyri, many believe in the existence of fairies. We'll unveil the legends related to fairies and discuss the different species of birds in the area.

We'll return to the starting point in Patreksfjördur by minibus, arriving around 3 pm.
