On this day trip to Kluane National Park, we'll explore the landscapes of this World Heritage Site and experience snowshoeing.
Day Trip to Kluane National Park
At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance of the Sternwheeler Hotel in Whitehorse and depart for Kluane National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we will wear snowshoes and traverse the snowy trails to discover the local flora and fauna, including Kathleen Lake.
We will concluded our visit at the Da Ku Cultural Center to learn about the history of Kluane National Park. The total duration of the tour is seven hours.
Summer Tour
During summer, the activity will showcase Kluane National Park without snow, exploring the wilderness on dry land. The summer route includes a visit toKathleen Lake and a short hike to Rock Glacier, offering views of Lake Dezadeash and surrounding mountains.
The summer tour will start at 8:30 am and will last between 8 and 9 hours. Lunch at the park's restaurant is not included in this option.
