Day Trip to Kluane National Park

On this day trip, we'll meet at the entrance of the Sternwheeler Hotel in Whitehorse and head toward Kluane National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we'll put on snowshoes and follow a route through the snowy trails, exploring the variety of plants and wildlife. We'll visit Kathleen Lake and undertake a short uphill trek to Rock Glacier for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

Continuing our snowshoe hike, we'll reach the historic town of Klukshu, known for its salmon fishing expertise. We will then stop at a local restaurant for a typical meal. Finally, we will visit the Da Ku Cultural Center to learn about the history of Kluane National Park. The total duration of the tour is seven hours before returning to Whitehorse.
