Day Trip to Kluane National Park

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Sternwheeler Hotel in Whitehorse and set off toward Kluane National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we'll put on snowshoes and enjoy a route through the snowy trails, exploring the unique variety of plants and wildlife. We'll see Kathleen Lake and do a short uphill trek to Rock Glacier for panoramic views of the other mountains and glaciers in the park.

We'll continue our snowshoe hike until we reach the historic town of Klukshu, known for its residents' expertise in salmon fishing. We will stop at a local restaurant for a typical meal.

Finally, we will visit the Da Ku Cultural Center to learn about the history of Kluane National Park before returning to Whitehorse, completing the tour after a total of seven hours.
