Join us on this day trip to explore the incredible Kluane National Park, a World Heritage Site known for its breathtaking scenery and captivating wilderness. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience as we traverse its trails with snowshoes!

Day Trip to Kluane National Park

Our adventure commences at the scheduled hour, where we will gather at the entrance of the Sternwheeler Hotel in Whitehorse. From there, we’ll embark on our journey to Kluane National Park, one of Canada’s most remarkable locations, recognized as a Unesco World Heritage Site for its stunning landscapes that truly take your breath away.

Upon our arrival, we will equip ourselves with snowshoes and enjoy a scenic trail walk through the winter wonderland, discovering the diverse flora and fauna that call this region home. Our route will lead us to Kathleen Lake, famed for its spectacular beauty.

To enrich our experience, we will visit the Da Ku Cultural Center. Here, we’ll gain insights into the historical significance of Kluane National Park and its cultural relevance.

As our day winds down, we will return to our starting point in Whitehorse, concluding this immersive experience after approximately seven hours.

Summer Tour

Opting for the summer variation means you will encounter the stunning vistas of Kluane National Park devoid of snow. The Canadian landscape remains equally dazzling in the warmer months. This time, instead of snowshoes, we’ll be exploring the dry terrain, making the most of the pleasant weather!

During the summer excursion, our adventure will still take us to Kathleen Lake. Additionally, we will embark on a short hike uphill to Rock Glacier, where panoramic views of Lake Dezadeash and the majestic surrounding mountains await us.

The summer tour is set to commence at 8:30 am and will last approximately between 8 and 9 hours. Please note that this option does not include lunch at the park's restaurant.
