On this day trip to Kluane National Park, we'll explore the stunning landscapes of this World Heritage Site and hike its trails using snowshoes.

Day Trip to Kluane National Park

We will meet at the entrance of the Sternwheeler Hotel in Whitehorse at the scheduled time and depart for Kluane National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features breathtaking landscapes.

Upon arrival, we will use snowshoes to navigate snowy trails and observe various plants and wildlife. One highlight will be Kathleen Lake, known for its beauty.

We will also visit the Da Ku Cultural Center to learn about the history of Kluane National Park.

After a total of seven hours, we will return to Whitehorse and conclude the tour.

Summer Tour

During the summer, the landscapes of Kluane National Park are snow-free, offering a different yet equally impressive experience. This tour will not include snowshoes and will take place on dry ground, allowing us to maximize the enjoyment of the good weather.

On the summer route, we will visit Kathleen Lake and hike uphill to Rock Glacier, where we will enjoy views of Lake Dezadeash and the surrounding mountains.

The summer tour will start at 8:30 am and will last between 8 and 9 hours, with no lunch included at the park's restaurant.
