After picking you up from your accommodation at 7 am, we will leave Colombo behind and drive to Kandy, also known as the capital of the mountains.

Our recommended itinerary includes a visit to a traditional herb and spices garden where we discover an essential part of Sri Lankan culture. You can also complement the experience by entering a local tea factory to try one of Kandy's most famous products.

We can also visit the fascinating Jewelry Museum and the magnificent Temple of the Tooth, a sacred shrine where the relic of Buddha's tooth is kept. You will also discover the unique Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to almost one hundred semi-domestic of these magnificent, friendly creatures.

Around 7 pm, we will return to Colombo and accompany you to your accommodation where we finish the excursion.
