Inside the castle, the State Apartments feature intricate ceiling paintings and you can view the Queen’s Mary Dolls’ House (currently closed to visitors).
Visitors will also have the opportunity to observe the Change of Guard at St. George’s Chapel on certain days and explore its Gothic interior, allowing a glimpse into the era of Henry VIII.

Windsor Castle is open at the following times:
March – October: Thursday to Monday from 10 am – 5:30 pm (last entry at 4 pm)November – February: Thursday to Monday from 10 am – 4:15 pm (last entry at 3 pm)
Itinerary Adjustments
St George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays and is currently closed every day of the week.As a functioning Royal Palace, Windsor Castle may close on short notice due to events or maintenance.The Changes of the Guard at Saint George's Chapel occur only on Thursday and Saturday at 11 am.
