The events at the concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau had a profound impact on the world. This day trip from Wroc?aw offers an opportunity to uncover its tragic history.
Auschwitz-Birkenau Full-Day Trip
Reflect on the words of Anne Frank, a Holocaust victim, while visiting the former camps: Auschwitz and Birkenau. Travel by bus to O?wi?cim, Poland, the site where 1.5 million victims were murdered during the Second World War.
Upon arrival, visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum with an English-speaking guide to explore the tragic events of the Holocaust. At Auschwitz I, experience the grim realities of gas chambers and crematoria, followed by one hour of independent exploration.
Your guide will then take you to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the largest extermination camp in Europe. Here, you will walk through barracks and various sections of the camp to gain insight into the events occurring from 1940 to 1945.
After this impactful visit, the group will return to Wroc?aw, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
