Boleslawiec Pottery & Jawor Peace Church Tour
At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Breslau to start a tour around Boleslawiec, a city known for its pottery production.
In 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will arrive at Boleslawiec and walk through its historical centre, visiting sites such as the Pigs' Pond, Rynek Glowny, and the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
Next, we will visit the Boleslawiec Pottery Factory. The first pottery pieces in the region date back to the 7th century. Inside, we will learn about clay-making processes and admire colorful carvings. After the factory visit, you will have 2 hours of free time for lunch and shopping, where you can purchase traditional pottery as a souvenir.
We will then travel to Jawor, arriving at 3:30 pm to visit the Church of Peace. This church, along with the one at ?widnica, is one of the largest half-timbered temples in Europe and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
