University of Wroclaw Guided Tour
We'll meet at the blue door of the University of Wroclaw at the indicated time. If this door impresses you, get ready for what awaits you inside.
As we head into the museum, its interior will amaze you. It was decorated with a marked baroque style under the order of Emperor Leopold I of Bohemia, with the main intention to create a school dedicated to philosophy and Catholic theology.
We'll spend one hour touring the museum, stopping to look at the various works of art that decorate the rooms and hallways. The University of Wroclaw was home to 10 Nobel Prize winners.
The tour will also take us to the Aula Leopoldina, the largest room in the building. This is the only secular baroque space in Poland preserved in such good conditions. The illusionist paintings, its decoration, and its sculptures will enchant you.
During the tour, the guide will detail the importance of the Jesuit College or the Counter-Reformation for the institution of the Austrian legacy. We'll also visit the Oratorium Marianum, the Imperial Staircase, and the Mathematical Tower.
The tour will end at the museum exit, 1 hour and 45 minutes later.
