University of Wroclaw Guided Tour

We'll meet at the blue door of the University of Wroclaw at the indicated time. Prepare for a remarkable experience inside.

The museum, located in the University’s primary building, showcases a baroque interior designed under the order of Emperor Leopold I of Bohemia, intended for philosophy and Catholic theology.

We'll spend one hour touring the museum, observing various works of art throughout the rooms and hallways. The University of Wroclaw has been home to 10 Nobel Prize winners.

The tour includes a visit to the Aula Leopoldina, the largest room, notable for being the only preserved secular baroque space in Poland in excellent condition. Its illusionist paintings and decorations are captivating.

During the tour, the guide will explain the significance of the Jesuit College and the Counter-Reformation to the Austrian legacy of the institution. We will also visit the Oratorium Marianum, the Imperial Staircase, and the Mathematical Tower.

The tour concludes at the museum exit, lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes.
