University of Wroclaw Guided Tour

We'll meet at the blue door of the University of Wroclaw at 2:30 pm. If this door impresses you, get ready for what awaits you inside.

As we head into the museum, located in the University's most important building, its interior will amaze you. It was decorated in baroque style under the order of Emperor Leopold I of Bohemia, intended to create a school dedicated to philosophy and Catholic theology.

We'll spend an hour touring the museum, observing various works of art that decorate the rooms and hallways. The University of Wroclaw has been home to 10 Nobel Prize winners.

The tour will also take us to the Aula Leopoldina, the largest room in the building, recognized as the only secular baroque space in Poland in good condition. The illusionist paintings, decoration, and sculptures will be significant highlights.

During the tour, the guide will detail the importance of the Jesuit College and the Counter-Reformation for the Austrian legacy. We'll also visit the Oratorium Marianum, the Imperial Staircase, and the Mathematical Tower.

The tour will end at 3:45 pm at the museum exit.
