University of Wroclaw Guided Tour
We'll meet at the blue door of the University of Wroclaw at 2:30 pm. The interior awaits you with its unique charm.
As we enter the museum, located in the University's main building, its baroque style will impress. It was decorated under the order of Emperor Leopold I of Bohemia, focusing on philosophy and Catholic theology.
We'll spend one hour touring the museum, observing various artworks in the rooms and hallways. The University of Wroclaw has been home to 10 Nobel Prize winners.
The tour includes a visit to Aula Leopoldina, the largest room in the building, celebrated as the only well-preserved secular baroque space in Poland. Its illusionist paintings and sculptures are significant.
The guide will discuss the importance of the Jesuit College and the Counter-Reformation for the institution's Austrian legacy. Additional visits include the Oratorium Marianum, the Imperial Staircase, and the Mathematical Tower.
The tour will end at 3:45 pm at the museum exit.
