World War II left its mark on Silesia and can still be seen in the Wlodarz and Osowka tunnels. This tour explores the history of these underground structures in Lower Silesia from Wroclaw.

WWII Tour in Lower Silesia

We will meet in the centre of Wroclaw and head towards the Owl Mountains to discover the tunnels of Project Riese, part of a Nazi plan built to store weapons safely. Among these is the Osowka tunnel, which reveals some secrets of the Third Reich.

Set in 1943, as the war rages, Lower Silesia is a strategic area. The Wlodarz complex is the next site on our tour, showcasing another of the Nazis’ secret plans.

At the Wlodarz tunnels, the largest of Project Riese, we will explore the vastness and engineering behind these structures.

After a day uncovering the secrets and facts about the tunnels, we will return to Wroclaw.
