Yangtze River 5-Day Cruise to Chongquing

Sail one of the longest rivers in the world on this 5-day cruise along the Yangtze River to the city of Chongqing.

Cruise Details

Day 1: Departure from Yichang

At 7 pm, we will meet at the Maoping Pier in Yichang to board the cruise ship. At 9 pm, we will set sail along the Yangtze River away from Yichang.

Day 2: Three Gorges Dam & Xiling Gorge

After a breakfast buffet aboard the ship, we will arrive in Sandouping and cross the locks of the Three Gorges Dam. Later, we will head to Xiling, the longest part of the Three Gorges, almost 44 miles (66 kilometers) long. If conditions permit, we will visit the tribe of the Three Gorges in the afternoon.

Day 3: Wu & Qutang Gorges

After breakfast on the ship, we will take a traditional Chinese boat to Goddess Stream. Then, we will explore the Wu Gorge and the Qutang Gorge, the narrowest part of the Yangtze River Gorges. The rest of the afternoon will be free.

Day 4: Shibaozhai, Fengdu, or Yuhuang Shengdi

We will have breakfast on board and, depending on river conditions, may visit Shibaozhai, Fengdu Ghost City, or Yuhuang Shengdi. The day will end with dinner on the ship.

Day 5: Chongqing

On the last day of the tour, we will have an early breakfast and conclude our cruise at the Port of Chongqing at 8:30 am.

Itinerary Adjustments

The itinerary may be modified due to weather conditions. We recommend booking a flight or train from Chongqing no earlier than 3 pm on the last day. In case of storms, the arrival port may be Wanzhou, and transportation will be provided to downtown Chongqing.
