Yangtze River 5-Day Cruise to Chongquing

Sail one of the longest rivers in the world on this 5-day cruise along the Yangtze River to the city of Chongqing.

Cruise Details

Day 1: Departure from Yichang

At 7 pm, meet at Maoping Pier in Yichang to board the cruise ship. We will set sail at 9 pm along the Yangtze River, departing from Yichang.

Day 2: Three Gorges Dam & Xiling Gorge

Enjoy a breakfast buffet on board. We will arrive in Sandouping and cross the locks of the Three Gorges Dam. Afterwards, visit Xiling Gorge, approximately 44 miles (66 kilometers) long. If river conditions allow, we will visit the tribe of the Three Gorges in the afternoon.

Day 3: Wu & Qutang Gorges

After breakfast, board a traditional Chinese boat to Goddess Stream. We will then explore Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge, the narrowest part of the Yangtze River Gorges. You will have the rest of the afternoon free.

Day 4: Shibaozhai, Fengdu, or Yuhuang Shengdi

Following breakfast, depending on river conditions, we will visit Shibaozhai, Fengdu Ghost City, or Yuhuang Shengdi. Shibaozhai features a unique wooden temple. Fengdu showcases demon sculptures built over 2000 years ago, and at Yuhuang Shengdi, you can see the Jade Emperor Pagoda. The day concludes with dinner on board and rest in cabins.

Day 5: Chongqing

On the final day, we will have an early breakfast and arrive at the Port of Chongqing at 8:30 am.

Itinerary Adjustments

Itinerary may change due to weather conditions. It is recommended to book travel from Chongqing after 3 pm. If storms occur, arrival may be at Wanzhou instead. Bus transportation will be provided to downtown Chongqing from Wanzhou.
