8 Day Silk Road Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an

Upon landing at Xi'an Airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free.

Day 2: Terracotta Army

After breakfast, travel from Xi'an to the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum to see the Terracotta Army. Return to Xi'an for a visit to the ancient city wall and the Muslim Quarter. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Dunhuang

After breakfast, transfer to Xi'an airport for a flight to Dunhuang. Visit the Gobi desert including Mingsha Dunes and Crescent Lake. Explore the night market before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Mogao Caves and arrival in Turfan

Breakfast followed by a visit to the Mogao Caves. Travel to Liuyuan station for a bullet train to Turfan. Check in at the hotel.

Day 5: Turfan - Urumchi

Visit Bezeklik and Gaochang, including the Astana Cemetery and Jiaohe ruins. Explore the Emin Minaret before transferring to a hotel in Urumchi.

Day 6: Urumchi

Breakfast in Urumchi, then visit the mummies of the Xinjiang Museum (closed on Mondays). Afterwards, visit Tianshan Heavenly Lake and spend the night on a train to Kashgar.

Day 7: Kashgar

Upon arrival in Kashgar, visit the old town, Id Kah Mosque, and Apak Khoja Mausoleum. Return to hotel.

Day 8: Departure from Kashgar

Transfer to Kashgar airport after breakfast for your return flight.

Includes six nights in 3-star hotels with breakfast across Xi'an, Dunhuang, Turfan, Urumchi, and Kashgar.

The tour includes an economy-class flight from Xi'an to Dunhuang, second-class train ticket from Dunhuang to Turfan, and overnight accommodation on a train from Urumchi to Kashgar. These bookings are non-refundable once reserved.
