8 Day Silk Road Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an

Upon arrival at Xi'an Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for the day to rest.

Day 2: Terracotta Army

After breakfast, travel in a minibus to the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum to visit the Terracotta Army. Following the visit, return to Xi'an to tour the ancient city wall and the Muslim Quarter. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Dunhuang

After breakfast, fly from Xi'an to Dunhuang. Check into the hotel, then explore the Gobi desert, including the Mingsha Dunes and Crescent Lake. Visit the night market before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: Mogao Caves and arrival in Turfan

After breakfast, visit the Mogao Caves to learn about their history. Travel to Liuyuan station and take a bullet train to Turfan. Check in at the hotel.

Day 5: Turfan - Urumchi

After breakfast, visit Bezeklik and Gaochang, followed by the ruins of Jiaohe and the Emin Minaret. After a 3-hour drive, check into a hotel in Urumchi.

Day 6: Urumchi

After breakfast, visit the Xinjiang Museum (closed on Mondays), followed by Tianshan Heavenly Lake. Overnight travel to Kashgar.

Day 7: Kashgar

Visit the old town of Kashgar, including the Id Kah Mosque and Apak Khoja Mausoleum. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 8: Departure from Kashgar

After breakfast, transfer to Kashgar airport for your return flight.

Includes six nights of accommodation with breakfast in 3-star hotels across Xi'an, Dunhuang, Turfan, Urumchi, and Kashgar.

Price is per person based on double occupancy.

Domestic Transport Included

The tour includes an economy-class flight from Xi'an to Dunhuang, a second-class train ticket from Dunhuang to Turfan, and overnight accommodation on a train from Urumchi to Kashgar. These tickets are non-refundable once reserved; the rest of the tour is cancellable with specific refund charges.
