8 Day Silk Road Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an

Upon landing at Xi'an Airport, you will be taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for settling in and resting.

Day 2: Terracotta Army

After breakfast, depart Xi'an for the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum to visit the Terracotta Army. Return to Xi'an to see the ancient city wall and the Muslim Quarter. End the day back at your hotel.

Day 3: Dunhuang

After breakfast, fly from Xi'an to Dunhuang. Visit the Mingsha Dunes and Crescent Lake in the Gobi desert. Explore the night market before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Mogao Caves and arrival in Turfan

After breakfast, visit the Mogao Caves to learn about their history. Travel to Liuyuan station for a bullet train to Turfan and check into your hotel.

Day 5: Turfan - Urumchi

Visit Bezeklik and the Gaochang site. See the Astana Cemetery and the ruins of Jiaohe, then travel to Urumchi for overnight accommodation.

Day 6: Urumchi

After breakfast, visit the Xinjiang Museum (closed Mondays). Go to Tianshan Heavenly Lake and take an overnight train to Kashgar.

Day 7: Kashgar

Explore the old town of Kashgar, including the Id Kah Mosque and Apak Khoja Mausoleum. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 8: Departure from Kashgar

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kashgar airport for your flight home.

Includes six nights' accommodation with breakfast in 3-star hotels across Xi'an, Dunhuang, Turfan, Urumchi, and Kashgar.

The quoted price is per person based on double occupancy.

Domestic Transport Included

The tour includes an economy-class flight from Xi'an to Dunhuang, a second-class train ticket from Dunhuang to Turfan, and overnight accommodation on a train from Urumchi to Kashgar. Transportation is non-refundable once reserved. The remainder of the tour is cancellable with refund charges applicable.
