8 Day Silk Road Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an

Upon arrival at Xi'an Airport, you will be taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for settling in and resting.

Day 2: Terracotta Army

After breakfast, you will travel to the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum to see the Terracotta Army. The tour continues to visit the ancient city wall and the Muslim Quarter. Return to the hotel for relaxation.

Day 3: Dunhuang

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a flight to Dunhuang. After check-in, the afternoon includes a trip to the Gobi desert, visiting Mingsha Dunes and Crescent Lake. Evening at the night market before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: Mogao Caves and arrival in Turfan

Breakfast, then visit the Mogao Caves for historical exploration. Travel to Liuyuan station and board a bullet train to Turfan, arriving at the hotel.

Day 5: Turfan - Urumchi

After breakfast, visit Bezeklik and Gaochang, including the Astana Cemetery and the ruins of Jiaohe. Return to Turfan for the Emin Minaret before continuing to Urumchi for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Urumchi

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Xinjiang Museum (closed on Mondays) and Tianshan Heavenly Lake. Overnight train journey to Kashgar.

Day 7: Kashgar

Explore the old town of Kashgar, visiting the Id Kah Mosque and Apak Khoja Mausoleum. Return to your hotel afterward.

Day 8: Departure from Kashgar

Breakfast at the hotel before transfer to Kashgar airport for your return flight.

Accommodation

Accommodation includes six nights with breakfast in 3-star hotels in Xi'an, Dunhuang, Turfan, Urumchi, and Kashgar.

The displayed price is per person in a double room.

Domestic Transport Included

The tour includes an economy-class flight from Xi'an to Dunhuang, a second-class train ticket from Dunhuang to Turfan, and overnight train accommodation from Urumchi to Kashgar. Transport is non-refundable post-reservation. Other parts of the tour are cancellable.
