Famen Temple and Yuanjiacun Village Private Tour

On this private tour, we'll visit the Famen Temple, a key Buddhist pilgrimage site, and the traditional Chinese village of Yuanjiacun, learning about Chinese customs and traditions.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an and drive for 1.5 hours to the Famen Temple, a significant religious monument in the Shaanxi region. During our 2.5-3 hour guided tour, you'll see a Buddha relic and the pagoda, which was reconstructed after damage from severe storms.

We will then visit a local restaurant for a traditional Chinese lunch. Over the course of an hour, you'll taste various local specialties that represent the essence of Chinese gastronomy.

After lunch, we’ll head to Yuanjiacun village in the foothills of a mountain. In the center of this town, we’ll begin a 2.5 to 3-hour walking tour through its streets, gaining insight into Chinese culture as we pass by traditional stores. We will return to your hotel in Xi'an about 8 hours after pickup.
