On this private tour, we'll visit the Famen Temple, a key Buddhist pilgrimage site, and the traditional Chinese village of Yuanjiacun, exploring Chinese customs and traditions.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an and set off on a 1.5-hour drive to the Famen Temple, a significant religious monument in the Shaanxi region.

During the 2.5-3 hour guided tour, you'll see one of the Buddha relics and the pagoda, which was reconstructed after severe storm damage.

We'll then visit a local restaurant for a traditional Chinese lunch, where you'll enjoy various local specialities, allowing you to explore Chinese gastronomy over the course of an hour.

After lunch, we'll head to Yuanjiacun village, located at the foothills of a mountain. In the center of the town, we'll embark on a 2.5 to 3-hour walking tour through its streets, gaining insights into Chinese culture while exploring its traditional stores. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Xi'an, arriving about 8 hours after pickup.

Please note that pickup is only available from hotels in the centre of Xi'an (the downtown area). If you're staying outside this area, contact the provider to arrange a pickup point.
