Famen Temple and Yuanjiacun Village Private Tour

On this private tour, we'll visit the Famen Temple, a key Buddhist pilgrimage site, and the traditional Chinese village of Yuanjiacun, learning about Chinese customs and traditions along the way.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an and set off on a 1.5-hour drive to the Famen Temple, one of the most significant religious monuments in the Shaanxi region.

During our 2.5-3 hour guided tour of the temple, you'll see one of the Buddha relics and the pagoda, which was reconstructed after destruction from severe storms.

Next, we'll dine at a local restaurant, enjoying a traditional Chinese lunch featuring various local specialties over the course of an hour, allowing you to discover the essence of Chinese gastronomy.

After lunch, we’ll head to Yuanjiacun village, located in the foothills of a mountain. In the town center, we'll embark on a 2.5 to 3-hour walking tour through its streets and delve into the essence of Chinese culture while passing by traditional stores. We will then return to your hotel in Xi'an, approximately 8 hours after pickup.
