On this private tour, we'll visit the Famen Temple, a key Buddhist pilgrimage site, and the traditional Chinese village of Yuanjiacun, learning about Chinese customs and traditions along the way.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Xi'an and set off on a 1.5-hour drive to the Famen temple, an important religious monument in the Shaanxi region.

During our 2.5-3 hour guided tour of the temple, you'll see one of the Buddha relics and the reconstructed pagoda, which was restored after storm damage.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. Over the course of an hour, you'll taste various local specialties representing Chinese gastronomy.

Following lunch, we'll visit Yuanjiacun village, where a 2.5 to 3-hour walking tour through the town's streets will provide insight into Chinese culture. After exploring Yuanjiacun village, we'll return to your hotel in Xi'an, arriving approximately 8 hours after pickup.

Pickup

Pickup is only available from hotels in the centre of Xi'an (downtown area). If you are outside this area, please contact the provider to arrange a pickup point.
