The Terracotta Army is located in a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and consists of over 7000 real-size soldiers, horses, and carriages. These figures were discovered by local farmers searching for water near Xian. The museum contains 3 pits featuring the funerary art of Qin Shi Huang, who ordered their construction in 221 B.C.. Visitors can see details of the enamel decoration in different colours and learn about the symbols on the warrior's clothing and the restoration techniques used on these ancient pieces.

The Terracotta Army Museum operates from Monday to Sunday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with the last entry at 3:30 pm.
