Do you know what the eighth wonder of the world is? With this admission ticket to the Terracotta Army Museum, you'll discover the history of this army.

Why visit the Terracotta Army?

The Terracotta Army is recognized as one of the 8th wonders of the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This site features over 7000 real-size soldiers, horses, and carriages with a rich history. The army was discovered by local farmers while searching for water near Xian.

At the museum, visitors can explore 3 pits filled with funerary art of the emperor Qin Shi Huang, who reportedly ordered the construction of these pieces around 221 B.C. Some statues can be viewed outside the pits, showcasing intricate enamel decoration in various colors. There are explanations regarding symbols on the warrior's clothing and the restoration techniques used on these ancient artifacts.

Opening Times

The Terracotta Army Museum operates from Monday to Sunday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Note that the last entry is an hour before closing time.
